Why I LOVE The Spencer Rattler Pick | New Orleans Saints News
Right now on paper failcons got the biggest chance of winning division but the saints to me got the second best team on paper in the division Tampa lost players and coaches and Carolina they are at the bottom of bottom
Professional reporters like this should be required to provide their previous five years of predictions whenever they make a new prediction.
We wont be laughing for long when Atlanta has their qb of the future while we are stuck with derek Carrbage for years hoping that a 5th round pick will be the savior 🤦🏽♂️
Love the show bro
Here are some interesting playoff stats: Mayfield. 100.4 passer rating, 2-2, 10 TDs 3 ints - Cousins 93.7 passer rating, 1-4, 5 Tds 1 int - Carr 69.2 passer rating, 0-1,1 TD 1 int. You make the call.
It’s the bucs division to lose
been winning the division by 1 game barely thats pathetic all other nfc south champions in the past closed it out before christmas bucs been struggling to close it out by week 18. 🤣🤣
To me it’s all a question of does Kirk come back like he was at the start of last season or is he Kirk from literally any other time ever. If the former they got this. If the latter they could end up behind the Panthers
Unfortunately I see the Saints finishing 3rd. Lame duck coach. Wasted year. Top 5 pick as a consolation prize
@@someperson3883 if we got a top 5 pick and got rid of Carr and Allen I’d take that deal. Embrace the suck, get good picks and rebuild this squad
@@someperson3883 I can honestly see it too. I’m just looking to see if the new OC shows any potential. if he does really well and DA ends up being fired idk if they make him the next HC or what
DA and DC need to go!
Have them at 6 wins. No idea how or why people are saying the schedule is easy outside of the division
I truly respect Matt for being truthful, honest, and consistent. Many Saints podcasters and media agents have become shills. It seems the owner/management and the carrbage are trying to force us into existing in an alternative reality in which mediocrity, entitlement, and cronyism will lead to success. This franchise has plummeted under Loomis-Allen-Carr. I feel most sorry for the veterans who have no hope of getting a ring after spending their careers with this franchise. I'm looking forward to the future with Saint Spencer and a franchise that finally junks its totaled carrSSSSSSSSSS.
To early for me. I don't get into predicting wins until late August 1 week before the season. Interesting thou.
This guy gets more things dead wrong than any analyst I listen too
I'm really high on Spencer. I think he was completely overlooked throughout the draft process because people spent the whole time debating the order of the top 6 prospects-but also, I think the only way he replaces Carr is injury. Too much money and investment in Carr, and not a lot of investment in Rattler-that's just roster politics.
My reaction is -- -- Vegas believes in the Saints more than I do. I'm sorry I am a wet blanket on this. I wanted to start over - after Alan's first go around. I have not swung back from then.
This is our year let’s go New Orleans Saints Who That
DA is a lame duck coach. Unfortunately I think the under is a lock
As a Saints fan, im just curious about us playing down to the level of competition!! For example, I know the Panthers might be the worst team in the league again, but what if they shock everybody and come into the Dome Week 1 and beat us??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your wrong about the fans Matt. Just look at your comments section and see all the delusional Saints fans who believe DA and Derrick the broke down Carr can win a championship...
Those comments are not from citizens of the Who Dat Nation. That is the carrbarge that follows Derek everywhere and plants and shills paid by the Saints front office.
Dumped on,dump the bud lite on yo head. I m out,no more lame bum takes from this negative Nancy boy show.
The Saints ceiling is 11 wins. The bottom is 7. 11 wins if Clint Kubiak system works but 7 if our offensive line fails to work out and the team is decimated by injuries. Let’s hope for the ladder!
I have 0 confidence in Dennis Allen’s leadership! ZERO! WE NEED A REAL GOOD HEAD COACH…and we will miss the playoffs AND YES DA has killed the winning culture of the Saints!
Except Derek Carr didn't play poorly in 2023. It was your favorites like Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara that played horribly and a non-existent offensive line. Ranked 28th in pass protection..
CARRBAGE IS 🗑️ CARRBAGE ALWAYS HAD A TOP OLINE AND DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS WITH THE RAIDERS ONLY ONE TIME 🗑️
There is no doubt 6-11 is coming. for several reasons.
Ig we can act like we werent a injury away from making the playoffs our QB was hurt most season and with a terrible offenisve scheme we were almost a 10 win team like the Texans but lets keep going with this everything is terrible narrative we could easily win 11 games its not a far cry
6 wins max
I don't think we'll win that many games.
This dude is a Carr hater and isn't doing the team or the fans talking all this bullshit. QBs play a lot better when the fans and media are behind them this negativity is going to get in the teams head . If Matt ain't got nothing good to say then don't say anything at all
Nothing excites me about this offense. 4-6 wins max
Dude we have an offense Defense is the issue
That haven’t even practiced as a team… are you from the future? 😮
Remember the Vegas line is about splitting the money equally so half the bettors put money on the Saints getting more than 7 wins and the other half puts money on the Saints winning less than 7. Before the schedule came out, I thought the Saints would be 1 of the hot team during the first 4 to 6 weeks due to the surprise factor. But that first half schedule is brutal.
Sean will hire DA if he's fired. Kubiak will then become the new HC
Shocked that you aren't on the golf course today. I know that you gave up bowling when someone came up and sized their fingers on your head 😅. I crack myself up
Carl Granderson could possibly be the 2nd best Defense of player
Saints well over and Falcons under. Dont touch the other 2
The Saints sucked ballz last year and we still won 9 games. This year we don't have the uninspired and predictable offense and play calling of Pete Carmichael. Our offense literally can only improve. We've added to the defense in key spots. We have a healthy Kendre Miller. The O line is still a question mark and that's a real concern, and yes, we have aging players. But on balance, I don't see how we don't win 1 more game than last year. 10 wins.
Schedule
11 wins. Calling it now. 🎷🎺⚜️
7 wins, calling it now. Too many question that probably wont get resolved anytime soon.
LOL
🧢🤣
@andyknolls8735 name 5 question you have with this team
Ong I believe it we can win 11 games people act like we weren't a Derek Carr injury away from being a 10 win team and that was with Pete so... I think people have got to this loser mentality, which shows you how mentality weak our fanbase is
12-5. We lose to chiefs, rams, falcons twice and bucs last game of season.
We ain't dropping 2 too the Failcons
@@Insert.Name.Here. not dropping 1 if you ask me
We're beating the Eagles, Cowboys, and Packers?
Make ir or break it season for DA
Actually not, they’ll keep him even if it’s 7 wins. The team isn’t bad enough for him to get fired. Would probably have to be like 5-12
Carr will be QB1 for the next 2 years, period. He will throw 35 tds 12ints this year. Thanks Kubiak
Carr doesn’t exactly have a good track record with offensive coordinators lol
Saints should be at 9 .They're the same or slightly better roster than last year and they lost several close games last year. Could have easily won 12 games.
Except we play a harder schedule this year. Likely won't have as many backup QBs to play. Where did the saints improve at in the off-season? Kubiak coming in doesn't magically fix the offense. Carr has a whole new system to learn now
@@WhoDatBoy9 I said the same or slightly better. Defense is better. Kubiak will DEFINITELY help the offense. SMH
@SenorJuan2023 I don't see how this team is slightly better or even the same. I see an old roster who's only getting older. No significant improvements at headcoach or QB. Kubiak does not equal instant improvement on offense and he's really the only significant addition to the team besides Chase Young, yet another unknown.
@@WhoDatBoy9First, Kubiak is a VAST improvement. Second, we had at least 4 really solid draft picks, added Willie Gay at LB, and Carr will likely improve. I played football, and most players do much better their second season with a new team, in the NFL, etc. Offensive line is still a huge question mark, though. Best case scenario is Penning steps up and we get a good Left guard.
@@WhoDatBoy9 Carmichael didn't even know how to utilize our best playmakers. Be serious.
Falcons too high, Saints and Bucs too low. Vikings are in a tough division, so I can see 7 wins there.
8 or 9 wins..
yep, once again
I do not understand why everybody is so high on the falcons when they have a first time play caller and a qb coming off a ACL injury
its like the last game of the year didnt happen lol
It's because of Bijan and obviously Cousins but Bijan is gonna be a major disruptive problem for that team
Achilles tendon, it's worse than an ACL. They're all high on the Jets and Rodgers as well and he is even older than Cousins and coming off of the same injury
It’s cuz it’s the next new thing just like it was for us last year or before last year
people don’t take into account play calling, same reason saints were favorites to win the division last season
How do you cut a quarterback who wins you the Super Bowl next year? You can print it
Rattler
Carr won't lead them to the playoffs. Said it last year. PLEASE prove me wrong.
I'm very proud of Tyrann, for staying home, down there in Nola. It's great to see.
Great video. It's for sure going to be an interesting season.
I wonder why he did a show on this dead money cap issue. It’s almost as if he wish Carr has an unequivocal dismal season so he can say I told u he was no good & DA is a lousy coach that needs to be fired. The man doesn’t hardly talk about any other Saints players. His show is replete with a unremitting drum beat of they paid DC to much money followed by a litany of statistical comments about DC’s lack of qb career accomplishments. In other words, everybody in the Saints front office, from the head coach to the GM to the owner, didn’t know what they were doing when they decided to sign DC & pay him “all that money.” Ultimately, what Crockett is doing is putting the Saints fans in a negative mindset towards their own team. I’m a Raiders fan. But I like to see Raider players have success on the teams they now play for. And I have to say, DC has been bombarded with more criticism & denunciation of his play than any Raider players I’ve followed to other teams.
"Second easiest schedule" my ass. A much improved division, 9 playoff teams including Super Bowl champs. 2 MNF games ON THE ROAD which is FOOLISH of NFL bc people want to VISIT New Orleans. Plus a game against Sean Payton's Broncos. 6 or 7 wins tops .... TOPS You heard it here first
Delusion 🤣😭
Lets say that Carr gets injured, and Spencer comes in and plays like mahomes, we 100% would either cut him, trade him, or restructure his contract to less money. The latter wouldn't likely happen. Carr would probably want to be traded somewhere where he could start. However, in this scenario, Carr MIGHT be like a Jameis because NFL teams wouldn't be interested in him as a starter. In that scenario, Carr would ride the bench and potentially accept less money.
Yes, except the accept less money. he'll only go for a trade (he has a no trade clause) if he is guaranteed playing time/ starting with no salary drop
